BT Car Service operates as a professional automotive repair and maintenance facility located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We provide a range of automotive services including but not limited to oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, transmission services, and general vehicle maintenance.

Services Offered

Our automotive services include:

  • Oil changes and fluid services
  • Brake system inspection, repair, and replacement
  • Engine diagnostics and repair
  • Transmission services and repair
  • Electrical system diagnostics
  • Suspension and alignment services
  • General automotive maintenance
  • Vehicle inspections
  • Emergency roadside assistance (where available)

Service Terms and Conditions

Appointments and Scheduling

  • Appointments can be scheduled online, by phone, or in person
  • We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances
  • Customers are expected to arrive on time for scheduled appointments
  • Late arrivals may result in rescheduling to the next available slot
  • Cancellation policy: 24-hour notice required for appointment changes

Service Authorization

  • Written authorization is required before any repair work begins
  • Estimates are provided free of charge for major repairs
  • Additional work discovered during service requires separate authorization
  • Emergency repairs may proceed with verbal authorization when written consent is not possible

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements are made
  • We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards, and electronic transfers
  • Outstanding balances may accrue interest at a rate of 2% per month
  • A service charge may apply to returned payments
  • Vehicles may be retained until full payment is received

Warranties and Guarantees

Nationwide Warranty

We provide a comprehensive warranty on parts and labor:

  • Parts: 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first
  • Labor: 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first
  • Coverage: Valid at participating service centers across Canada
  • Exclusions: Normal wear items, fluids, filters, and damage caused by customer negligence

Warranty Limitations: Warranties are void if the vehicle is modified, used commercially beyond normal parameters, or if unauthorized repairs are performed by other parties.

Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim:

  • Present original service receipt and warranty documentation
  • Return to BT Car Service or participating warranty center
  • Allow reasonable time for warranty inspection
  • Warranty work will be performed at no charge when claim is valid

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the specific service performed
  • We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages
  • We are not responsible for loss of use, loss of income, or personal inconvenience
  • Customer's remedy is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the service cost
  • Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your vehicle and its history
  • Disclose any known problems or previous repairs
  • Remove personal items from the vehicle before service
  • Provide necessary keys, access codes, or documentation
  • Maintain your vehicle according to manufacturer recommendations
  • Pay for services in accordance with our payment terms
  • Treat our staff and facilities with respect
